Agencies

  • The Arc of the United States is the largest national community-based organization advocating for and serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

  • Benefits.gov¬†offers information on more than 1,000 Federal and state benefit programs. Simply complete the free and confidential questionnaire and our prescreening tool will generate a tailored list of programs just for you.

  • Disability.gov¬†is a federal government website for comprehensive information on disability programs and services in communities nationwide. The site links to more than 14,000 resources.

  • Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) oversees the operations of the health and human services system, provides administrative oversight of Texas health and human services programs, and provides direct administration of some programs.

  • Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) works with communities to protect children, the elderly, and people with disabilities from abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
